We are so chuffed to hear that Adehle, who comes to Rooted & Booted to improve her employability, has secured work experience with a view to paid employment with the housekeeping team at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital.
Adehle, who is autistic, is such a star and thoroughly deserves this wonderful opportunity. Over the last couple of months she has been so helpful in the lambing shed where her patient care skills have been evident. After a year with us we recommended her for employment and will continue to give her the appropriate support to flourish in this new work. Mum says “Adehle has gained so much confidence at Rooted & Booted; she looks forward to going each week and always comes home with a real sense of achievement”.
